…well not exactly, but it got you reading! We’ve attended Bingley Children’s Centre for quite a few years. To be honest since moving here in 2007, it’s one of the few places I’ve found where I’ve felt truly accepted. There are lots of opportunities for messy play and painting, there’s water play, a sandpit, home corner and lots more! It’s basically an awesome place and to be quite honest, for a lot of people I think it’s a lifeline. I was lucky enough to be on the advisory board for the Children’s Centre a few years ago when I was on maternity leave, and I can’t really imagine a time when I won’t be one of its supporters.
Vicky says, ” I run a playgroup in East Morton on a Tuesday morning at the East Morton Institute. This is already well attended by many mums from Bingley.
The group runs every Tuesday morning during term time from 9.30 – 11.30. The group is really popular and so we recommend arriving early to avoid disappointment.”
Admission is – under 1 year £1, over 1 year £2, each additional child £1.
Contact Vicky Beecroft on 07894 830820 for more information.
The Baptist Church is also running “Messy Church” which is on Mondays (7th April – held once a month) at 3-50pm – play, craft and tea for children under 9 years. For more information visit their website here.
My two boys are really obsessed with Lego at the moment, so I was pretty happy when I found out about these local sessions called Bricks for Kidz, run by Keith Moran.
“Bricks 4 Kidz® provides an extraordinary opportunity for students to learn science and engineering concepts by building with LEGO® Bricks.”
