A what’s on guide for families in the Bingley area this Easter!

Cadbury Easter Egg

Friday 30 March – Monday 2 April, 9.30am – 4.30pm

Bring the whole family together this Easter and treat your little ones to the magic of our Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt. You can follow bunny’s clues around the garden whilst spotting the signs of spring and finish your adventure with a delicious, chocolaty treat. 9.30am – 4.30pm, trail sheets £2 each.

Easter holiday traditions

Friday 30 March – Sunday 15 April (closed on 6 & 13 April), 10.30am – 4.30pm

Come along for an adventure this Easter holiday and get closer to nature in the wild play garden. You can balance on a fallen tree, create mud pies and hunt for bugs. As well as enjoying the great outdoors, we’ll be making nature crowns and decorating the apple trees with messages of luck to encourage a good harvest. There’ll be nature inspired arts and crafts too. Inside the house we’ll be making gingerbread the traditional way every Tuesday at 11.30am.

An Anglo-Saxon experience

Sunday 8 April, 11am – 4.30pm

This Easter we’ll be joined by the English Companions for an Anglo-Saxon experience. Take a step back in time to the fifth century and learn what life was like for the Anglo-Saxons who once walked the grounds here.

This family-friendly day will include a shield wall demonstration, costumes to try on, shields and bracelet making, writing runes, story-telling and lots more. There’ll be artifacts on display as well as the chance to ask questions and learn about how the Anglo-Saxons have influenced our lives.

General admission prices apply – free entry for National Trust members and under 5’s.
